History spins into another circle and the new war breaks into our world. In a dream-like mind a strange sensation rises: “prison” and “army” have become synonymous. Constant anxiety now accompanies us from morning until late night, a sense of insecurity escalates to paranoia, economic shocks and information overloads turn into daily rituals, the very existence is distorted overnight. The history circle is closed.
I met Antonio while hiking this summer in the French Alps. He was sitting with his two dogs at the top of a mountain pass, looking down on his flock of sheep. We talked for an hour. A month later, I came back with a camera to make this short film with him.
This documentary is a tribute to the shepherd.
